About The Event
Quality Health Associates of North Dakota is providing Mental Health First Aid training to increase the capacity of rural communities including the workforces of critical access hospitals, long term care facilities, and community service providers to use this evidence-based practice to appropriately recognize the signs and symptoms of individuals experiencing mental illness, respond to acute needs and refer to additional available resources.
This training also seeks to increase utilization of available behavioral health resources by increasing awareness and utilization of resource linking services through development of awareness campaign and materials to be used by Mental Health First Aid trainees.
The class is hosted virtually via Zoom. Training requires 2 hours pre-work plus a post-test and evaluation.
